Kevin Blount

Kevin Blount has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Kevin started in 2008 as a Senior Systems Administrator at Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Headquarters, where they handled various projects such as migrating the asset database and implementing an Adobe Breeze server. Kevin then moved on to Pearson North America as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they implemented new Windows servers and upgraded desktops for the Cherokee County School District.

In 2012, Kevin joined TechBridge as a Senior Systems Engineer and was responsible for providing onsite and remote support to clients. Kevin also worked as an IT Manager/VMware Engineer at Metro Atlanta Chamber, where they established network specifications and maintained a complete working virtual VMware network.

Kevin later joined Pull-A-Part as a Senior Regional Systems Engineer, overseeing the Gulf Coast Region's network and infrastructure. Kevin was involved in infrastructure planning, design, and implementation projects. Kevin then joined Control Southern as an IT Supervisor, ERP Manager, and Network Administrator, where they managed the internal network and led major Salesforce and IFS implementations.

In 2016, Kevin joined Hitachi T&D Solutions, Inc. as an Information Technology Operations Manager, responsible for all aspects of IT and strategic planning. Kevin then moved to Zaxby's Franchising LLC as the Director of IT Operations & Security, where they oversaw IT operations and security until January 2023.

Currently, Kevin is serving as an Executive Council Member at CIO Professional Network™ and as the Senior Director of Corporate IT Infrastructure and Data Security for Edible Brands. In their role at Edible Brands, they are responsible for overseeing the entire portfolio, leading infrastructure and service reliability engineering teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Kevin Blount has a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Kevin also holds an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems from Gwinnett Technical College.
