Joachim Inkmann

Fellow

Joachim Inkmann is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of finance and economics, with extensive experience in research and teaching. Joachim served as a Research Fellow at The London School of Economics and Political Science from October 2003 to August 2005, focusing on the UBS Pensions Research Programme. Since September 2005, Inkmann has been a Fellow at Netspar, contributing to studies on pensions, aging, and retirement. Additionally, Inkmann worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant for Siemens Financial Services from July 2001 to September 2003. In academia, Inkmann has held positions as an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University from September 2005 to August 2009, and has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne since September 2009. As of June 2024, Inkmann also serves as the Editor for the Journal of Pension Economics & Finance. Inkmann completed a Dr. rer. pol. in Economics with Summa Cum Laude at the University of Konstanz from 1994 to 2000, following a Diplom-Volkswirt at the University of Mannheim and a Vordiplom at The University of Göttingen.
