Piet Rietman

Piet Rietman is an economist with extensive management and leadership experience in governance roles within societal organizations. Currently, Piet serves as an interim director at Humanity in Action Nederland, where they inspire and connect new generations of leaders in human rights and inclusivity. Additionally, Piet holds a position on the supervisory board of Netspar, fostering informed pension discussions based on scientific research. Piet has previously worked with various institutions, including FNV and the Stichting Pensioenfonds voor Personeelsdiensten, demonstrating a strong proficiency in finance, ICT, and other domains. They have attained multiple degrees, including BSc and MSc in Political Science from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and an MSc in Economic Policy from the Universiteit Antwerpen.
