Svend E. Hougaard Jensen

Svend E. Hougaard Jensen is a Professor of Economics and the Director of the Pension Research Centre (PeRCent) at Copenhagen Business School, where they have been a faculty member since 2007. They hold a Doctor of Philosophy from the London Business School and have extensive experience in various academic and advisory roles, including serving on scientific councils and boards for several economic institutions. Prior to their current roles, Svend was a Professor at the University of Southern Denmark and the Director at the Centre for Economic and Business Research. They have also contributed as a consultant for The World Bank and held non-resident fellow and member positions with notable organizations such as Bruegel and the Systemic Risk Council.
