Roopam Sharma

Roopam Sharma has a diverse work experience with multiple companies. Roopam started their career as a Web Developer Intern at Spark Infosystems in 2015, where they worked on web development projects using PHP and HTML. Roopam then joined STMicroelectronics as a Trainee, where they implemented new modules for the front application and performed testing. After that, they worked as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Cognizant, where they received training in Java, SQL, and TIBCO Business Works. Roopam also worked on a movie ticket booking system project during this time. In 2019, Roopam joined Tata Consultancy Services as a Software Engineer, where they worked on various projects involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP servlet, JDBC, and the MEAN stack. Roopam also gained experience with AWS Cloud Services and continuous integration using Jenkins. Currently, Roopam is working at Netspend as a Senior Software Engineer (Tech Lead), where their responsibilities include designing API changes, writing stories, and assisting teammates in problem-solving and resolving cross-team dependencies.

Roopam Sharma obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology. Before entering higher education, Roopam attended Army Public School and completed their high school education with a focus on Science with Maths. They also obtained additional certifications in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, Machine Learning, and Neural Network and Deep Learning from Coursera.
