UX/UI Designer at NetVirta

Marilyn Teo has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Marilyn began their career as an Architectural Intern at SQFT Architects Pte Ltd in 2013 and then worked as an Architecture Assistant at Interconsultants Pte Ltd in 2014. In 2016, they interned as a Travel Retail Architectural Intern at Parfums Christian Dior, where they focused on drafting, 3D modeling, and layout of Dior store designs. From 2017 to 2019, Marilyn worked as an Associate Designer at Resorts World Sentosa, where they were responsible for designing and drafting technical drawings, 3D modeling, and graphics support for various projects. Marilyn also collaborated with external vendors to ensure the approved designs were achieved. In 2019, Marilyn joined JustCo as a Senior Executive Designer, where they were involved in design, drafting technical drawings, space planning, and conducting site visits. Marilyn then joined General Assembly in 2020 as a User Experience Graduate, where they collaborated on various projects, including mobile responsive design for The Sake Guys and a website redesign for the Salvation Army. Currently, they are employed at NetVirta, Inc. as an Associate UX/UI Designer, and recently transitioned to the role of UX/UI Designer.

Marilyn Teo has a diverse education history. Marilyn recently attended General Assembly in 2020 to study User Experience Design, although a specific degree was not mentioned. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from RMIT University from 2015 to 2016. Before that, they completed a Diploma in Architecture at Singapore Polytechnic from 2011 to 2014.

Going back even further, Marilyn attended New Town Secondary School from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained their 'O' Levels certification. Their primary education was completed at Nanyang Primary School from 2000 to 2005, where they attained their PSLE certification.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Marilyn Teo has also earned additional certifications. In October 2020, they completed courses in "Project Management Agile vs Waterfall" and "Project Management Fundamentals" at NTUC LearningHub. Additionally, in September 2020, they obtained certification in "UX Foundations: Research" from LinkedIn.
