SVP of Digital Experience Services at Network Designs

Carmen Marco is the SVP of Digital Experience Services at Network Designs. Carmen previously served as the FAA Chief Information Officer (CIO) from May 2014 to December 2016 and as the Deputy Assistant Administrator Corporate Communications for the Federal Government from June 2005 to March 2013. In their role as the FAA CIO, Carmen led an organization of over 650 federal employees with an annual budget of $300 million and another $60 million in customer funded programs. Carmen was responsible for supporting over 47,000 FAA employees with the technology they need to do their job efficiently and effectively. Carmen also oversaw all digital communications for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), including the development and optimization of over 45 web-based applications. Under their leadership, FAA web properties received over 800 million digital views of FAA content, delivered over 28 million mission-critical regulatory documents, and achieved a measured reach of 37 million social impressions. Carmen earned their B.S. in journalism from Radford University and is a Certified Usability Analyst.

Carmen Marco earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies from Radford University.
