Aleksandr Pershin has held a variety of roles in the software development industry. In 2011, they began as a Software Developer at JSC "Radio engineering corporation "Vega". Aleksandr then moved on to become a Junior Lecturer at MIREA in 2014. In 2017, they joined Mail.ru Group as a Senior Software Developer, working on the modern cross-platform desktop client (Windows, Mac, Linux). Aleksandr was responsible for the relaunch of ICQ in April 2020. In 2020, they joined VK.com as a Senior Software Developer, developing Sferum/VK Calls cross-platform desktop client MVP from scratch. Currently, they are working as a C++ Developer at Network Optix.
Aleksandr Pershin received their Specialist degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation (Technical University) in 2013. Aleksandr then continued their studies at the same institution and obtained their Master's degree in Applied Mathematics in 2016.
