Tyler Hansel began their work experience in 2010 as an intern at Smith Electric Vehicles, where they assisted the Telemetry Team in developing and launching the on-vehicle telemetry system. In 2014, they worked as an engineering intern at KNS Communications Consultants. From 2015 to 2017, they served as an Engineer at KNS Communications Consultants, developing automated testing and reporting systems for wireless networks.
In 2017, Hansel joined Chanje as a Telematics and Data Science Engineer, leading projects to design telematics hardware and software systems and analyzing performance metrics of electric cargo vehicles. Tyler then moved on to 3M in 2021, working as a Data Operations Engineer, where they analyzed and fixed data integration issues and solved deployment challenges in AWS.
Currently, Hansel is a Senior Software Engineer at Network Perception since 2022. Tyler'sresponsibilities include profiling network path analysis code, implementing and refactoring parsers for firewall configurations, and strategizing the re-architecting of the legacy analysis engine to integrate into the next generation product.
Tyler Hansel attended the Colorado School of Mines from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Physics.
