Derek Jackson

Derek Jackson is an experienced professional in the rail industry, currently serving as State Manager QLD at Network Rail Consulting since July 2022. Prior roles include Customer Director at Alstom and Executive Sales & Ecosystem Lead QLD & WA at Bombardier Transportation Australia. Throughout a 15-year tenure at Siemens, Derek held various positions, including Key Accounts Manager QLD, National Sales Manager (Rail Systems), Bid Manager for the Gold Coast Rapid Transit project, and Project Manager for both the 3800 Locomotives and Combino Trams projects. Derek holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) in Mathematics and Physics from Australian Catholic University.
