Daniel Round is an experienced industry professional with a strong background in transport planning and strategic management. Currently serving as Industry Programme Director at Network Rail since November 2015, Daniel has held various leadership positions including Head of Strategic Planning for the Western region and Lead Development Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure as Interim Head of Transport Strategy at West of England Combined Authority and significant roles at Oxfordshire County Council, where responsibilities encompassed transport planning, public transport improvement, and large-scale project management. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Transport Planning from Oxford Brookes University and a BA (Hons.) in Environmental Planning and Management from Bangor University.
