Darrell Simpson

Darrell Simpson is a Director of Fleet & Engineering at Network Rail with a robust background in rolling stock engineering and over 20 years of technical expertise. A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Darrell has held senior management positions for more than a decade, specializing in maintenance delivery, project management, and safety case management. Previous roles include leadership at Bombardier Transportation, Wabtec Rail Ltd, and Serco, where they oversaw significant improvements in documentation processes and fleet performance. Darrell completed a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
