John Burrows

John Burrows has a rich background in engineering and management, spanning several decades across various industries. Starting with a career in the Royal Navy as a Chief Petty Officer Marine Engineering Technician from May 1975 to June 1989, John transitioned to British Gas, where responsibilities included managing maintenance at a liquefied natural gas storage plant from October 1989 to January 1996. Following this, John served as Project Manager for Process Engineering at GEA Group from January 1997 to June 2001. A significant tenure at Network Rail from December 2010 to June 2014 involved multiple roles, including Infrastructure Maintenance Manager, Contracts Manager, Change Manager, and Planning and Engineering Manager. John Burrows holds an Engineer's Degree in Energy Engineering from London South Bank University and a Higher National Certificate in Plant Engineering from Mid Kent College. Retired since July 2018, John continues to leverage extensive engineering expertise and management experience.
