John Egan

John Egan is a Senior Signalling Specialist (Sighting) at Network Rail, where they lead a national team of Signal Sighting Specialists and serve as a Signal Sighting Chair. They hold an IRSE Licence 1.1.140 - Design Manager and are trained in the SORAT risk assessment tool. John has extensive experience in signal sighting and project management, having worked on significant projects including Crossrail and HS2. Their previous roles include positions at MHA Limited and Lloyd’s Register Rail, where they contributed as a Project Manager and Senior Consultant, respectively. Egan earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Thames Valley University.
