Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is the Head of Construction Delivery at Network Rail, a role they have held since 2025. They have an extensive background in engineering and construction management, with a history of working on complex multi-disciplinary projects. Ryan's previous experience includes roles at McConnell Dowell, RCR Tomlinson, and Laing O'Rourke, where they demonstrated expertise in engineering management, project control, and procurement. They hold a Bachelor of Construction Management from the University of South Australia, as well as degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University and South Cheshire College.
