Simon Bowden

Simon Bowden has over 30 years of experience in the rail industry, currently serving as a Program Manager for the Track Workforce Safety Team at Network Rail since April 2004. Prior roles at Network Rail include Project Manager (Change) Planning and Senior Operations Delivery Manager. Before joining Network Rail, Simon worked at Railtrack from September 1996 to April 2003, holding positions such as Signaller and Operations Delivery Manager. Simon's career in rail began at British Rail, where roles included Signalman and Leading Trackman. Earlier experience includes working as a Bus Driver for London United and serving in the British Army as a member of the Grenadier Guards. Simon received education at Caludon Castle in Coventry from 1973 to 1978.
