Simon Leyshon

Simon Leyshon is the Industry Programme Director at Network Rail, bringing over 25 years of experience in enhancing customer satisfaction and delivering significant change programmes within the UK's railway infrastructure. Previously, Simon held various roles at BAA plc and Network Rail, overseeing capital investment projects, including a £1bn Railway Enhancement Programme on the East Coast Main Line. Simon has developed strategies for business change, led national initiatives, and facilitated revenue growth in both railway and airport environments. They completed a Higher National Diploma in Business and Leisure Studies and have pursued further education, including a Master’s Degree level study at the University of Warwick.
