Smith Mike

Smith Mike is currently the Programme Director for Railway Reconnections, dedicated to enhancing rail services and fostering community connections. With a deep understanding of industry dynamics and stakeholder motivations, Smith has led various successful projects at Network Rail, including roles as Route Enhancement Manager and Head of Strategic Planning Network Rail South East. Smith completed a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance at Leeds Metropolitan University and began their career as a General Management & Finance Graduate Trainee with the NHS. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants, Smith employs a strategic and collaborative leadership style to drive sustainable solutions within the rail sector.
