William Vargas

William Vargas has a long and varied work experience. William began their career in 2007 as Manager of Systems, Billing, Cost, Statistics, and Customer Service at E.S.E Antonio Nariño - Caa La Selva - Antiguo Seguro Social. In 2009, they moved to Mac Server - Center Apple Authorized Service as Technical and Apple Seller. In 2010, they became a Web Developer at FELINUX LTDA. From 2011 to 2013, William Vargas worked as Web Developer at Centro Cultural Colombo Americano - Cali | Palmira | Buga. William then moved to Cafeto Software as Junior Developer in 2013. In the same year, they started working at Alert Logic as Senior Engineer - BI team and Senior Software Engineer. In 2022, they joined BeeSoft Labs as a Tutor, volunteering to teach software development and strategic skills, mainly to people with low economic resources, helping them to acquire the knowledge necessary to get their first job in technology companies. Finally, in 2021, they became a Senior Data Engineer at Redux.

William Vargas has a varied educational background. William obtained a Professional Technical Systems degree from Intenalco in 2006-2008, followed by a Systems Technologist degree from Universidad Santiago de Cali in 2009-2012. William then earned a Systems Engineer degree from University Antonio José Camacho in 2013-2017. In 2018, they completed a Business Intelligence & Big Data postgraduate course at Universidad del Valle (CO). In 2020, they completed a Functional Programming in Erlang course at University of Kent. William is currently pursuing a Master in Management of Information Systems and Technological Projects at Universidad EAN, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
