Angelo Poggi

Angelo Poggi has a diverse background in the field of IT, with their most recent role being a Network Automation Engineer at Network to Code since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Opti9 Tech as a Network Engineer from 2018 to 2023. In this role, Angelo was responsible for leading the professional services team and providing managed infrastructure, BaaS, DraaS, and networking services. Angelo also trained and mentored new engineers, led an internal infrastructure project, and automated tasks using Python.

Before their time at Opti9 Tech, Angelo worked as a Jr. Systems Engineer at Hi-Tek Data from 2016 to 2018. Angelo also gained experience as an Integration Technician at Brightworks Computer Consulting from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Systems Administrator at Hi-Tek Data Corp. from 2014 to 2015.

Angelo started their career as a PC Technician at Executive Computer World in 2012 and interned as an IT Field Technician at SCO Family of Services in 2013.

Angelo Poggi obtained an Associate's Degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Suffolk County Community College. Angelo attended the institution from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Angelo holds several certifications including the Brocade Professional IP Administrator certificate obtained from Brocade in December 2016 and the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certificate obtained from Cisco in March 2019. Most recently, in January 2022, Angelo obtained the Cisco Devnet Associate certification from Cisco.
