Brad Johnson has a diverse work experience that includes various roles in the field of information technology. Brad started their career as an Assistant Chief of Security at East Tennessee Protective Services from 1997 to 1999. Brad then worked as a Senior Computer Technician at ABS Computers from 2000 to 2002, followed by a role as a Personal Banker at BB&T from 2002 to 2005. Brad then served as an Associate Pastor at Good News Baptist Church in 2005 before transitioning to the healthcare industry. Brad worked as the CIO & VP of Business Development at Physicians Care - An Affiliate of Urgent Team from 2006 to 2016, where they were responsible for the company's data infrastructure and managed several clinic location projects. Brad then joined Avenger Logistics as the Director of Information Technology from 2017 to 2021, overseeing facility moves, software upgrades, and network infrastructure projects. Most recently, Brad held the position of Information Technology Administrator at Blue Line Solutions from 2021 to 2022, where they designed, developed, and maintained IT solutions to support business needs. Brad has now taken on the role of Director of Information Technology at Network Transport in 2022.
Brad Johnson's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Pastoral Ministry from Crosspoint Baptist Seminary, which they obtained between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they studied Theology at Crown College from 2000 to 2002, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In addition to their formal education, Brad has also obtained various certifications. Brad obtained an A+ Certification from CompTIA in June 2007. In February 2012, they earned a Master Project Manager certification from AAPM (American Academy of Project Management). Brad also obtained a Facilities Management certification from Pryor Learning | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack in March 2014. Most recently, in June 2021, they completed a course on Initiating and Planning Projects from Coursera.
