John W. has a strong background in information technology infrastructure and network management. John began their career in 2011 as an IT Specialist at Presque Isle Downs and Casino, where they developed and maintained LAN/WAN infrastructure. John then progressed to the role of Systems Administrator - Network, focusing on managing and improving the network, PBX, and cellular devices. In 2014, John joined FMC Technologies as a Network Engineer, where they were responsible for managing LAN/WAN infrastructure and assisting with troubleshooting and projects. Afterward, they worked at Erie Management Group as a Network & Computer Systems Administrator, overseeing network and computer systems administration. Currently, John is employed at Networking Technologies as an Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist.

John W. obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems/Networking from Fortis Institute, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In 2022, they earned the HPE ATP - Hybrid IT Solutions V2 certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as well as the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2022 certification from VMware. In 2023, they obtained the HPE ASE - Hybrid IT Solutions Architect V1 certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as well as certifications in Extreme Campus Fabric - Installation and Configuration, ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine - Installation and Configuration, and ExtremeWireless Cloud - Installation and Configuration from Extreme Networks.
