Ali Altaf

Ali Altaf is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management, angel investing, and software engineering. Currently serving as an Angel Investor at Startups since March 2019, Ali has invested in over 20 early-stage startups and founded PinAngels, an angel investing syndicate related to Pinterest. Previously, Ali was a Group Product Manager at Pinterest from June 2015 to April 2025, overseeing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. Ali's earlier roles at Pinterest include Senior Product Manager and Product Manager, where significant contributions included launching new features and enhancing content quality. Additionally, as the founder of Hack4Impact, a nonprofit focused on software development for social causes, and as a board director at Code for Pakistan, Ali has demonstrated a commitment to leveraging technology for social good.
