David Studwell is a professional actor with extensive experience in theater, currently portraying Avrum in the North American Tour of THE BAND’S VISIT with NETworks Presentations since May 2019. Studwell has held roles with several esteemed companies, including fulfilling the role of Lord Burliegh in Peter Oswald's translation of MARY STUART at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in early 2018. Additionally, Studwell has contributed as a Fulbright Scholar since March 2015 and has worked as a freelance actor and director at The Cherry Artspace since January 2016. Previous acting engagements span numerous theaters, including PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre and Hangar Theatre. Academic credentials include an MFA in Performance-Acting from Purdue University and a BFA in Musical Theatre from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
