Gideon Friedmann

Gideon Friedmann is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at NetZero Technology Ventures since January 2024. Prior to this role, Gideon held prominent positions at the Ministry of Energy, including Chief Scientist and Head of R&D from August 2017 to December 2023, where responsibilities encompassed supporting research and development in renewable energy, smart transportation, and grid security. Other notable roles include Manager at the Center for Green Energy Savings, Technologies & Renewable Energy Section Manager at the Ministry of Energy & Water Resources, and CEO of Stygo Innovation and Jexys Pharmaceuticals. Gideon holds a PhD in Physics from Stanford University, an MS in Economics from Purdue University, and a B.Sc. in Physics & Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.
