NeuArtica is a collaboration between visual artist Louisa Bufardeci, biomedical researchers Ya Hui Hung and Roshan Dhillon,  and children's health advocate Deanna Carpino.  We make art projects about the brain with, and for, children.  Our first project, A-maze-ing Brain! aims to bridge science, art, and lived experience with childhood dementia.  We are curious to know how kids imagine and experience their brains – not in scientific terms, but in creative and metaphorical terms. We think children have an amazing capacity to imagine the world in different ways to adults, and we want to learn from them.
