Jose Pluto

Jose Pluto, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Neuberger Berman since April 2021, and previously held the role of Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Portfolio Manager and Head of Mortgage Credit Research at Aegon Asset Management from May 2017 to April 2021, and working as a Fixed Income Analyst at Thornburg Investment Management from June 2013 to November 2016. Early career positions include Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Stark Investments, Vice President of Interest Rate Product Sales at Goldman Sachs, Director of Global Derivative Products for Financial Institutions at Bank One NA, and Associate in Derivatives Marketing at J.P. Morgan Securities. Jose Pluto holds an MBA in Finance and Management Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
