Stephen Wright

Stephen Wright is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in risk management, currently serving as a Managing Director and Head of Business Risk at Neuberger Berman since October 2004. In this role, Stephen oversees the Portfolio Compliance, Operational Risk, and Central Supervision Groups, managing key areas such as Enterprise Risk Management, Gen AI Governance, and Business Continuity. Stephen has chaired various internal committees, including the Operational Risk Committee, and has previously held senior positions focused on compliance, operational risk, and governance. Prior experience includes roles at Merrill Lynch, where responsibility encompassed business control and compliance functions within the Global Private Client branch.
