Neuemoon Health’s mission is to empower young girls & women suffering from complex gynecological illnesses (like endometriosis and uterine fibroids) to live healthier lives. Many women, unfortunately, suffer from debilitating symptoms—such as abnormally painful and heavy periods, bladder & bowel issues, painful sex, infertility, etc—for years before they are officially diagnosed. For example, on average, it takes 10 years for endometriosis and 3.6 years for uterine fibroids. And even after the diagnosis, oftentimes women would be prescribed ineffective treatment by doctors while the underlying disease progresses. The delay in proper diagnosis and treatment often leads to diseases progressing to the point of needing more aggressive surgeries, such as hysterectomy (removal of uterus) or oophorectomy (removal of ovary). This is simply not right. And Neuemoon Health exists to fix this.
