Amanda Williams

Amanda Williams has a diverse and extensive work experience. Amanda'smost recent role was as a Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Neumora since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Director of US HTA and Value Communications at Lumanity from July 2022 to April 2023. Before that, they worked at AbbVie, where they held various positions, including Executive Director of Global Medical Content & Scientific Learning Excellence from September 2020 to October 2021 and Director of Global Scientific Communications & Training from May 2020 to September 2020.

Earlier in their career, Amanda worked at Allergan, where they served as the Director of Global Scientific Communications & Training from September 2017 to May 2020. Amanda also worked as a Medical and Health Outcomes Liaison and a Senior Scientific Communications Specialist at the company. Prior to Allergan, they were a Medical and Health Outcomes Liaison at Actavis (now Allergan) from February 2014 to March 2015.

In addition to their industry experience, Amanda has academic experience. Amanda worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida from June 2010 to July 2012, where they focused on Pharmacotherapeutics and Clinical Research in the College of Pharmacy. Amanda also served as an Assistant Professor at St. Louis College of Pharmacy from 2005 to 2006.

Amanda's earlier roles include positions at Forest Research as a Managed Care Clinical Specialist from December 2012 to February 2014, at WellCare as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager from January 2008 to May 2010, and at St. Elizabeth's Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Acute Care from August 2006 to January 2008.

Amanda Williams has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Florida. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology & Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida. In addition, they hold certifications such as Medical Trainer Academy from Salience Learning, Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist from Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy (CCGP), Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) from BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties, and is a Licensed Pharmacist registered with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
