Michael Ballard

Michael Ballard, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and neuroscience. Michael is currently working at Neumora as an Associate Director, Clinical Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at BlackThorn Therapeutics as a Clinical Scientist. In 2018, they joined Dreem as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager and later transitioned to the role of Clinical Sleep Scientist. Michael has also worked as a Clinical Research Scientist at Neurocentria, Inc. and as a Research Health Science Specialist at the VA Northern California Health Care System. Michael Ballard, PhD, received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University in 2001. Michael later obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neurobiology from the University of Chicago in 2012.
