Simon Durbridge has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Freelance Sound Engineer for On Event Production Co. and as an Engineer for PT LTD. In 2010, they worked as a Bar Tender for Reading International Solidarity Centre. In 2011, they worked as a Sales Associate for GSM Europe. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Junior Technician for Impact Production Services (IPS). In 2015, they worked as a Development Engineer for Amina Technologies Ltd. In 2017, they worked as a DSP Engineer and a Graduate Digital Signal Processing Engineer for Bowers & Wilkins. In 2019, they worked as a Digital Signal Processing Engineer for Neural DSP Technologies, a Specialist DSP Software Developer for Self-employed, and a Laboratory Demonstrator for University of York.

Simon Durbridge has a diverse educational background. From 2000-2005, they attended Ranelagh Secondary, where they obtained their GCSE. From 2006-2008, they attended the Academy of Contemporary Music, where they obtained a Btec Diploma in Music Performance. From 2011-2015, they attended the University of Derby, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sound, Light & Live Event Technology. From 2015-2017, they attended the University of Derby again, where they obtained a Master of Science Honours in Audio Engineering. Lastly, they are currently attending the University of York, where they are working on a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Udemy and Duolingo.
