Travis V.

Travis V. has a strong background in equipment calibration and quality systems. Travis currently holds the position of Equipment and Calibration Lead - Quality Systems at Neuralink since January 2023. Prior to joining Neuralink, they served as an Equipment Quality Engineer at the same company from February 2022 to January 2023. Before that, Travis worked at ICU Medical as an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician, where they provided technical expertise for developing calibration and preventive maintenance programs. Travis also held the position of Senior Calibration/Instrumentation Mechanic for a brief period. Travis began their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Calibration and Repair Technician, responsible for calibrating test instruments and tracking funding for calibration. Travis later served as a Production Supervisor/Quality Inspector, overseeing maintenance operations and managing a calibration lab.

Travis V. received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics (Minor in Business) from The University of Texas at Austin from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mathematics from Austin Community College from an unspecified start year to 2020. Travis also obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Economics from Austin Community College from an unspecified start year to 2020. In addition to their college education, Travis V. received various technical training in fields such as maintenance management, electronic test equipment calibration and maintenance, calibration of physical/dimensional test and measuring equipment, aviation technician training, and marine avionics apprentice technical training from different institutions between 2009 and 2012.
