Tom Maher

Tom Maher currently serves as General Counsel at Neuromod Devices since July 2024. Previously, Maher held significant positions in various companies, including Chief of Operations, Corporate Counsel, and Board Director at Amarin Corporation from April 2019 to March 2023, and Vice President of Legal at Elan Pharmaceuticals from November 1997 to January 2004. With experience as a Corporate Partner and Head of Life Sciences Practice at Matheson LLP, Maher has also worked with Mainstay Medical in multiple capacities, including SVP Corporate, General Counsel, and Company Secretary. Maher began legal training as an Associate Solicitor at A&L Goodbody LLP, specializing in M&A and corporate law, and has co-headed the Life Sciences Practice at ByrneWallace LLP. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Trinity College Dublin and solicitor professional qualification from the Law Society of Ireland.
