Guillermo Vela is the CEO and Co-Founder of NeuScience since 2018, focusing on transforming advanced solid cancers into manageable conditions through AI and proprietary technology. Vela has served as a Career Advisory Council Member at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, providing support for biomedical trainees. Previously, Vela held the roles of Chairman of the Board and CEO at Nebulab Technologies, which aimed to enhance research efficiency through cloud-based lab management. Vela also advised Hecate OncoSolutions during the 2015 NIH Neuro Startup Challenge and was involved in research on brain cancer and stem cells at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Vela holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University.
