Gregory Nicola

Gregory Nicola has extensive work experience in the medical field. Gregory started their career in 2005 as a Physician at Hackensack Radiology Group and Hackensack Meridian Health. In 2011, they joined the American Society of Neuroradiology as an Advisor to the American Medical Association Resource-based Relative Value Update Committee (RUC). In 2016, Gregory became the Chair of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) Committee at the American College of Radiology. Gregory also served as the Chair of the Commission on Economics at the same organization starting from June 2020. In 2019, they took on the role of Chief Medical Officer and later became a Consulting Chief Medical Officer at NeuTigers.

Gregory Nicola began their education at the University of Michigan from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General. Gregory then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine. Following that, from 1999 to 2000, Gregory pursued an Internal Medicine Residency Program at UC San Diego. Afterward, they joined the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University for their Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program, which lasted from 2000 to 2004. Finally, they completed a Neuroradiology Residency Program at the same institution from 2004 to 2005.
