John Weiss

Director of Strategic Initiatives at Neutral Zone

John Weiss has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and organizations. John started their career in 1995 as the Director of the Adolescent Division at the High/Scope Educational Research Foundation, where they worked until 2003. Following this, they joined Ypsilanti Public Schools as a Teacher from September 2002 to March 2003. In 2003, they moved to Willow Run Community Schools, where they served as a Middle School Reform Facilitator until September 2005. From October 2005 to December 2014, they held the position of Executive Director at Neutral Zone. Subsequently, they became the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Neutral Zone in January 2015, and continues in this role.

John Weiss has a diverse education history. John obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan, which they attended from 1982 to 1994. During this period, they also pursued a Master's Degree in Public Policy and completed it in 1994. Additionally, they pursued Urban Planning at the same university, but the duration and completion of this degree are not specified.
