Alan Luong

Alan Luong has worked in the software quality assurance field since 2001. Alan began their career at NewMoon Systems Inc. as a Member of Technical Staff. In 2002, they joined Trend Micro as a QA Engineer and was later promoted to Software QA Engineer. In 2009, they moved to SS8 Networks where they evaluated third-party applications and created complex scalability automation testing scripts. In 2013, they joined Shape Security as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer and was responsible for designing and configuring test environments. In 2019, they joined NeuVector as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer and was responsible for creating test plans, test cases, technical documentation, and automating K8s CRD, RBAC, and product feature testing.

Alan Luong attended San Jose State University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
