Olivia Butters

Olivia Butters is currently the Asia Programs Director at neverthirst, overseeing initiatives in the region. Previously, they served as a Research Associate at Newcastle University, where they assessed climate change impacts on urban flooding. Olivia held various roles with Médecins Sans Frontières, including Water and Sanitation Manager, where they managed water system repairs and established safe water protocols. With a solid educational background, they earned two Master's degrees in Hydrology and Water Resources Science, as well as Mathematics from Newcastle University. Their earlier experience includes serving as Water Programme Manager at Fishermans Rest, where they developed monitoring systems for rural water points.
