New Blood Art is a curated online gallery founded in 2004 to introduce exceptional emerging artists to serious collectors.

For 20 years, we’ve identified talent before it becomes visible to the mainstream art world, building a track record of artists who go on to exhibit internationally, win awards, and grow in value.

In 2023, we launched the New Blood Art Emerging Art Prize, which recognises outstanding Fine Art graduates nominated directly by their tutors from BA and MA programmes across the UK.

This makes the Prize uniquely compelling: it offers a distilled, year-by-year overview of the most exciting work emerging from Fine Art departments nationwide - a cultural snapshot of early-stage contemporary practice. It’s not just about individual talent, but the collective shape of what is coming next in contemporary art.

Together, the gallery and the Prize reflect our commitment to spotting talent early, holding a high curatorial standard, and giving collectors access to tomorrow’s leading artists today.
