New Development Bank (NDB)
Daniela Junqueira currently serves as Chief of Staff at the New Development Bank (NDB) since January 2024. Prior to this role, Daniela held multiple significant positions at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) from August 2016 to January 2024, including Chief of Conference and Languages Services, Head of Programme Delivery Risk Management, Senior Advisor to the Vice-President, and Senior Special Adviser to the Associate Vice-President, Corporate Services. Daniela also worked at The World Bank from September 2006 to August 2016 as Senior Counsel for African countries within the Legal Vice-Presidency. Earlier career experience includes serving as a lawyer at Barbosa, Mussnich & Aragao from March 1998 to September 2006 and as a junior tax advisor at PwC from January 1995 to January 1997. Daniela's educational background includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Governance from Stanford University, a Master’s degree in Civil and Constitutional Law from UERJ, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
