Dan Connell

Dan Connell is an experienced operations executive with a strong background in venture building and business strategy. Currently serving as VP of Operations and Head of Operations at Newlab since March 2020, Dan has led the Venture Studio's strategy and business operations, focusing on team development and partnership agreements. Previously, Dan established new ventures at Newlab as the Director of Partnerships and gained valuable experience as a Founder in Residence at Antler. Dan’s advisory work at Connell Advisory Inc. and investment roles at the Partnership for New York City and Raymond James underscore a robust understanding of startup dynamics and capital markets. Dan's early career involved consulting for distressed companies at FTI Consulting. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Business Minor from Villanova University and completed the Emerging COO Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business in 2023.
