Matt Ayers has worked in the engineering and research fields since 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they were a Research Assistant in the Earth Science Department of the U.S. Department of Energy at the E.O. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California. In 2005, they joined New Logic Research, Inc. as an Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for performing technical reviews, defining project scopes, creating project bill of materials, managing inventory, optimizing equipment design, training junior engineers, overseeing new product and technology design and development, selecting new vendors and materials, managing product listings with NSF, UL, CSA, and 3-A standards agencies, standardizing equipment and documentation, and updating company P&ID symbols in accordance with International Society of Automation Standard S5.1. Matt also served as a Process Engineer/Project Manager and Lab Technician at New Logic Research, Inc.
Matt Ayers attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Chemical Engineering degree with a focus on Air and Water Remediation, and a Minor in Chemistry. Matt also received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
