Vice President Of Peer Services at New Narrative

Haven Taylor has diverse work experience in the mental health field. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Peer Services at New Narrative, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Clinical Director and Program Manager at the same company. Before joining New Narrative, Haven worked as a Lead Mental Health Clinician and Dual Diagnosis Mental Health Clinician at the organization. They also gained experience as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at the Oregon Department of Corrections and as a Counselor III at Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare.

Haven Taylor completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology, at Willamette University from 2006 to 2010. Haven then pursued a Masters of Counseling degree in Counseling Psychology at Pacific University, which they completed from 2011 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Haven obtained their Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC), III certification from the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon in April 2015. Haven became a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through The National Board for Certified Counselors in July 2018. Haven also acquired their Licensed Professional Counselor [Supervisor In Training] certification from the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors & Therapists in February 2018. Most recently, they obtained a Traditional Health Worker - Peer Support Specialist certification in Adult Mental Health from the Oregon Health Authority in September 2022.
