Steve Smith, FAIA, is the founder and CEO of New + Found, where they focus on solving real estate needs through adaptive reuse and historical renovation. They co-founded Lawrence Group in 1983, expanding it into a full-service real estate firm with over $500 million in historic renovations in the past decade. Steve’s ongoing projects include the City Foundry STL redevelopment and various community-centric developments, and they remain actively involved in the Midtown Moto Complex. Steve holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas and received an Honorary Fellowship in 2024 from the University of Wolverhampton.
