New Roots, Strong Wings (NRSW) is a faith based community for immigrant women, particularly Black and Asian women, in the UK who are seeking belonging, re-rooting, and support as they navigate life away from home.

We create safe, supportive spaces grounded in Christian values where women can connect, share experiences without judgement, access accurate information, and build resilience together. A core part of our work is fostering community-led support through prayer, regular gatherings, peer mentorship, and knowledge-sharing that centres women’s lived experiences while anchoring them in faith. Women of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome, and participation is rooted in mutual respect, dignity, and care.

Through faith, conversation, education, and collective care, we encourage women to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their confidence and wellbeing, and grow into their God-given identity while building the skills, networks, and support systems needed to thrive personally, professionally, and within their communities.
