Michael DiRisio

Michael DiRisio has over 12 years of work experience. Michael began their career in 2009 as a Grant Tutor at Monroe Community College, where they assisted a professor in the instruction of a Tooling and Machining course and mentored students in the operation of Mill, Lathe, and general shop machinery. In 2011, they took on the role of Receiver at Barnes & Noble. In 2012, they became a Trade Books Receiver at Barnes & Noble College. In 2014, they were a Design Engineer Intern at Carestream. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Magnatag Visible Systems as an R&D Manager and Research and Development Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer at New Scale Technologies.

Michael DiRisio's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Buffalo State University from 2012 to 2014, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2011, and an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Monroe Community College from 2008 to 2010. Michael also holds certifications in E-Series Core Training from Universal Robots A/S obtained in July 2022, Teacher Certification Training from Universal Robots A/S obtained in July 2022, Precision Tooling and Machining from Monroe Community College obtained in December 2021, and Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) from Solidworks obtained in May 2010.
