Brian Acosta

Brian Acosta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In their current position at NEW WORK SE, they serve as an Engineering Team Lead since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at the same company from February 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining NEW WORK SE, Brian Acosta worked at XING as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer from January 2018 to February 2020. Brian also gained experience at Netcentric - Enterprise Web Excellence as a QA Test Engineer from September 2013 to January 2018. During this time, they specialized in AEM (formerly known as Adobe CQ) and took on various responsibilities such as functional tester, test lead, and automation engineer.

Brian Acosta started their career at Integrho by AdQualis as a Software Engineer, where they worked from June 2007 to February 2012. In this role, they focused on solving bugs, developing software under demand, and maintaining software using SVN (sub-version). Prior to that, they gained internship experience at Departament medi ambient generalitat catalunya, where they worked from January 2004 to June 2004. In this role, they were involved in database management and programming in VBA.

Additionally, Brian Acosta has experience as a Customer Service & Operations executive at City Credit Capital, where they worked from June 2012 to August 2013. In this role, they worked closely with clients, addressing their queries and ensuring a smooth trading experience on the platform.

Brian Acosta obtained a degree in Computer Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a foundational degree in Software Development from Escola Universitària Salesiana de Sarrià spanning from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they hold certifications from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, including the ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level Extension, Agile Tester in 2016, and ISTQB - Foundation Level in 2014.
