Carles Loriente

Carles Loriente has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Carles is currently the Technical Director of Engineering at NEW WORK SE, where they are responsible for shaping the ecosystem and standards for cloud operations and leading the migration to the public cloud. Prior to this, Loriente worked at Interiorvista, where they held the positions of Chief Information Officer and Senior Cloud Architect. In these roles, they developed and managed an IT department, established enterprise multi-cloud infrastructure and architecture standards, and designed and developed infrastructure for production environments. Loriente also has experience as a Founder and CTO at LORIENTE INTERACTIVE MEDIA SL and worked as an Analyst programmer at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Additionally, they worked as a Programmer at Eureca Media and Flash developer at Bic Graphic Europe.

Carles Loriente obtained an Executive Master's degree in innovation from Escuela de Organización Industrial in 2015. From 1997 to 2002, Carles attended Universitat Politècnica de Valencia and earned a degree in Information Architecture and Systems Design, focusing on Computer and Information Sciences. In 2001, Carles completed a Typography course in typeface design, lettering, and kerning from Professional Trainers. Carles also completed high school at ARCE, receiving a High School Diploma between 1984 and 1992. Additionally, Carles obtained a certification in the Learn Go Course from Codecademy in an unspecified month and year in 2021.
