New World Design Builders and our in-house design studio, K2 Studios, has been a design leader in the hospitality industry for over two decades.  While our work spans the gamut of hospitality, we are particularly well known for our restaurant work.  We create one-of-a-kind designs for our restaurant clients which include celebrity chefs, hospitality groups, and entrepreneurs, and we designed what Food Network Magazine named the most Instagrammed restaurant in the US.  Prior to our success in restaurant design leading to that being a large share of our work, we won countless awards and accolades for our work designing cutting edge spas.
We take on a small number of interesting projects, which allows the company’s founder, Chris Kofitsas, to personally lead the creative and design of every project.  Additionally, New World provides clients with a level of expertise that other designers or architects simply can’t.  First, having designed hundreds of hospitality projects allows us to incorporate operational efficiencies that surprise and delight even the most seasoned operators.  Second, after almost thirty years of building our designs, we understand construction intimately and know how to design buildable and impactful projects as cost efficiently as possible.
While we do design-build, we do so a bit differently than the traditional model.  We keep the design and construction contracts separate, which means our design clients receive the same deliverables that other designers/architects provide culminating in a full set of construction drawings.  If requested, we will then bid on the construction work along with other contractors.  That said, we do build most of what we design as the client benefits tremendously from the designer and contractor being one in the same.
